Day 3 Update :)

Hello from Colorado again!

It was another great night here in Colorado! A day filled with fellowship in God's Word! Plans did change as thunderstorms made their way in and we got rained out once we got everyone in our group got on the horse! Attempt one failed! We are going to try attempt number two on Friday at 4:00 up the mountain! As we waited out for the thunderstorms to pass- we shared a great number of laughs and story telling!

Again- we had a similar schedule to yesterday with morning services provided by Pastor Boe and Pastor Jonathan Unverzagt. After we took part in electives of the kids choice. After we had lunch we were on break for recreation time for the rest of the day! While some of us attempted to go horseback riding others stayed back and took part in arts and crafts, watched the talent show, took a nap, and played games! For the evening service tonight, Pastor Dana Coyle spoke on the wrath of God. It was a very good message that was important for everyone to hear! John 3:35-36.

Below are questions in which we asked some of the kids:

What is one thing/lesson you want to take home and carry out with you when you leave camp?
Jake- I have learned the importance of continuing to have a strong faith in the Lord.
Chelsey- I have learned how much power God's love is for me and I will carry that through in my life at home.
Peter- I have learned how important it is to have a personal relationship with God so that we will have no wrath.
Brittany- I want to share my faith more with all those that I encounter each and everyday.
Kenzie-- I want to read my bible more each day and continue to grow stronger in my faith.
Mackenzie- I want to show my faith to my friends and show them what it is like to be a Christian.
Nathaniel- I want to continue to read my Bible each and every day.

Everyone said Hiking

What has this week meant to you?
Jake J.- it has been a fun time with friends and also been able to enjoy worshiping God together!
Chelsey- This week has been a GREAT learning experience as I have learned more about God then I have ever before
Brianna- This week has been so rewarding
Nathaniel- It has put me in the word each and every day and the sermons have been so GREAT
Peter- It has been so much FUN!
Isaiah- It has helped reassure me to always do what the BIBLE says
Tyler- I have been getting out a lot from this week and know the importance of being close to God and knowing him better.
Jake J.- I have been more willing to follow God and allow him to be with me wherever I go!

Anything you want to say to your family back home?
Nathaniel- I am having a great time- and I hope my dad isn't working too hard milking the cows!
